Strangest start to a wedding day we’ve ever done with a quick swim in the warm sea for the groom and his male guests.
Even the girls got in on the act before the ceremony, but this time in the pool of the beautiful Pavlo Napa Hotel on Nissi Beach, Ayia Napa.
After the swim, Graeme and best man Kev, tuck into a good, sensible breakfast, in Pavlo Napa Hotel restaurant.
Angela decided on a far more fun start to the day.
If you’re going to a wedding in Cyprus, what better way to arrive than coming down a slide ?
The wedding took place in the gorgeous Garden of Eden restaurant, on Nissi Beach, Ayia Napa.
What better way to start married life than a stroll in The Mediterranean Sea.
After a sensible start to the day, Graeme did the sensible thing and got Angela to push the stunning Beauford car over the sands back to the main road.
We’ve covered many weddings across the UK, but this was our first destination wedding coverage and could we have got a better place than Cyprus, I don’t think so. Graeme and Angela took a party of around 25 friends and family over for the intimate wedding, and the entire trip was simply breathtaking, with wall to wall sunshine and exceptional service from the locals. We even decided to turn it into a holiday ourselves and enjoyed 5 star luxury in the Pavlo Napa hotel.
The wedding took place in The Garden of Eden restaurant, just a mile or so down the road from the hotel, a gorgeous indoor and outdoor venue, with a small chapel built there. Amazingly, the wedding co-ordinator was a lady who came from Linthorpe in Middlesbrough.
The following day, Angela got back into her wedding dress, and went parasailing with Graeme, and then decided on a spontaneous, Trash The Dress session, jumping into the sea from the boat wearing her wedding dress, we may even show a few of these photos in a later post. A fabulous wedding and we look forward to many more like this in the coming years.
