Richie starts the day nicely relaxed in the birdcage at Hallgarth Hotel Darlington
Weddings are a time for friends and family to celebrate but always nice to remember those no longer with us.
A lovely moment, just after the ceremony, to enjoy the event.
The birdcage at Hallgarth Hotel, is a unique place for a confetti shot.
Danielle makes sure she doesn’t break the golf rules at Hallgarth Hotel by taking off her wedding shoes to run across the green.
Hallgarth Hotel is not just a great wedding venue, but also a nice golf course too. Stay over for a round perhaps grooms ?
The beauty of Hallgarth Hotel is that it has many lovely areas for wedding photography, like this little meadow running alongside the golf course.
Having known Richie, and his family, since he was around 12 years old, it was an honour to be asked to be their wedding photographer. We’re often asked if its a blessing or a curse to photograph the weddings of people we know, and in the majority of cases its a blessing, as we are able to be more relaxed and have a little more fun with the guests, as we know what we can get away with saying to them.
Having shot at Hallgarth Hotel in Darlington many times, it was great to have time with Richie and Danielle and take them to some of the lesser used areas for pictures. As part of their wedding package, they purchased one of our wedding books and were delighted with the images and design.
